The Arihant Autocomponents Plant comprises built up area of 97,000 sq ft located on a plot measuring 242,000 sq ft. The Greenfield expansion project of Arihant Groups DOM tubes business is coming up on the adjacent plot resulting in easy access to input material.
The machining set up is based on workcells comprising automats and CNC machines with the objective of providing flexibility and quick response time while optimising investment cost. To enhance operator productivity, AAPL has also initiated low cost automation projects which are under implementation and whose effects would be realised during the current fiscal year. Current equipment list includes:
- Automats 30 nos
- General Purpose CNC 58 nos
- Grinding 3 nos
AAPL quality systems are certified to TS16949 standards supported by TPM and Kaizen initiatives for greater involvement of the workforce in the continuous improvement process. Ongoing training programs for the workforce and staff are designed for building skill levels and commitment.
A well equipped metrology lab is also being set up for supporting the inspection and gauging requirements of the company. The list of in-house equipment includes:

Apart from this we have access to all the material testing facilities at our tube making facility located nearby.
